Crash Bandicoot is the main protagonist of the series. Crash as his name suggests is a Bandicoot and he is a strange fellow. Crash always remains silent and trying to communicate with him is rather difficult. Crash Bandicoot is voiced by Brenden O'Brien throughout the series.

Crash appeared in his first game, Crash Bandicoot on August 31st, 1996. The game was an instant hit and people all over the globe enjoyed Crash as he jumped onto boxes of TNT and battled Neo Cortex. Crash had numerous hits and sequels and to this day games are being made.

Crash Bandicoot is related to his sister Coco, who appears in Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back and shes used in numerous levels as a replacement of Crash. Coco unlike Crash has the ability to speak and somehow she is one of the few characters in the game who can understand him. Vicki Winters voices her and then Debi Derryberry from Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped and onward his good pal name Foofie.
