Nitrous Oxide (Also called N. Oxide or Nitros Oxide) is an alien from the planet Gasmoxia, and is a skilled racer. He is a final boss is two games (CTR and Crash Bash)

Oxide has a very alien-like appearance--considering he is one! He is a character in three games, and is a cameo character in Twinsanity. He also has a small cameo in Wrath of Cortex, with his ship flying across the intro screen. He hasn't been in a game since Nitro Kart, where he was a playable character with his two cronies, Zam and Zem.
