Polar is Crash Bandicoots fun loving friend who helps Crash in various levels. Crash rides Polar and Polar will speed through levels helping Crash break boxes and get past tough enemies.

Polar first appears in Crash Bandicoot: 2 in level 8 (Bear It) and Crash happily jumps on him goes for a free-ride as he zips through the level collecting fruit and dodging TNT boxes.
[edit] Characteristics
Polar is a fun loving Polar Bear who loves going fast and assisting Crash in his journey. Polar is on the good side of the Crash Universe except in Crash Twinsanity when he is depicted as a bad guy. Otherwise Crash and him are pretty close through the game series.
